This liner package ran on WPFR Terre Haute, IN from 1988 until they signed off in '91. Power 103 was the first station I worked where they used more liners than traditional jingles. Folks in the area seemed to like that approach. There was a bar at the corner of 19th & Margaret where Mickey Burke jocked and used to play these liners between the songs. Later on, Mickey hosted the morning show during the stations dying days. That was one of the first stories I heard about the station when I hit town in late 1989.
After I posted this I got an email from my buddy Max who runs a station in Vegas. He said: One of my ALL TIME favorite imaging voices! I feel like Luke Skywalker just went all Jedi on my ass ;).
